01-The Cluster and power online (by May)

/!\the following text was taken from an anonymous chat on an omegle-like website with a girl i met, i changed here name here for anonymity reasons. this might look a bit messy but i wanted to archive the whole text as raw as possible. this might take a few readings but you kinda get her point at some point.i don't have enough datas yet to really judge if what she's saying about 'the cluster' is true and can be somewhat verified, but i definitely agree with some other of her points. i highlighted in the text what fed some of my own thoughts. enjoy reading.

"Have you noticed...I don't know what to call it. "The cluster". This tipology that a certain kind of transgirl seems to fall into the orbit of. it's hard to name it, other than by pointing at examples. But Nyx land is there, voidgoddess, zizians" "There's more. Humdog...i actually don't know if she was trans, but she was a weird woman on the internet in the 90s, so probabillistically. it's something to do with body and thought, mediated through digital spaces. the early transhumanists could be called part of this space too. you know the internet itself is a fantastic mediator for trans identity. because it divorces the body from the mind. turns personnality into text. shows you how to leave embodiment." "and when you can leave embodiment, it becomes easier to find a new one. to stop accepting things as unchangeable." "and it's connected to accelerationism and esotericism and digital personality and kink and trans-ness. i meet a lot of chasers on here you know. and their experience with transwomen is just like "girl with a cock, put it in me mommy" and i mean ok fair. there's a normie version of trans identity. but in 'the cluster', that still definitely exist. people still like body parts and putting them in things. it sounds pretentious, but there's layers to it, in 'the cluster'. an awareness that on some level its a show, and it becomes self-referential, like everything else in 'the cluster'. feedback loops are a big part of whatever 'the cluster' is. weird selection effects, working on individuals over time. selection effects, strange attractors, culture loops. kink becoming identity, but through a warped mirror that reflects back on itself. a show that knows its a show, that acts as though it isn't, but can only exist with a viewer. power, divorced from physiccality. that's weird, right ? like ahistorical? traditionally, power was physical ou social, and social only worked because it was backed up by the physical. but on the internet, in anonymous spaces, you don't get that. yet power still exists. its still giver, still taken, still craved. you can bully a single anonymous user, use social power. but it doesn't work long term. so where does the power come from then?"
